Comments
Comments: Spotting two cars made this 9.6 mile hike a lot easier! There are some steep, loose rock sections toward the Ledges on Table Mt. but manageable. Took the herd path up to the true summit. That was steep but short. I would describe the rest of the trail as lots of ups and downs and rugged in spots. Most of the trail was easy to follow except a small section near Lucy Brook before you get to the Moat Mountain junction where some extra care is needed. Saw only one other group of hikers the whole day who were also "red-lining" the trail.
