Comments
Comments: Started on the old USFS road by the 3 boulders on Haystack Road. We decided to bushwhack up rather than take the obvious herd path. We continued about .5 mile past the right hand turn off for the herd path (which is really obvious), then headed up hill on a bearing of about 248 degrees (magnetic) for about 3/4 mile until we hit the ridge. There were some ledges and huge boulders to work around, but this was not a problem at all. On the ridge, we followed the herd path(s) to the summit. We followed the herd path(s) all the way back down. It occasionally disappears and reappears along the ridge, but we had no problems.
