| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Using the Sandwich Notch Road to the trailhead would be a challenge with a car. I had an FJ Cruiser with 4WD and high clearance so no problems here. The trailhead might have enough space for three cars. |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All brooks were passable by rock hopping. However the rocks were slippery and one of us fell when placing our feet on one of them. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There was a large tree down before the conifer forest that everyone seems to be going around. |

| Comments: |
No views today because of fog hanging on the summit. Algonquin Trail offers a bit of everything: beautiful hardwoods, conifer forests, fiery green moss, rock scrambling, and open ledges. It's a trail that keeps on giving.
