Comments
Comments: This half mile lolly-pop loop has a white sign acknowledging Bill Hastings life but it is hard to see since the trees are growing up around it. Trail is well blazed. At the end of the lolly-pop handle we went right, counter clockwise. Nice path to the river and then trail follows bank of the river. One place the trail is narrow and has steep drop off on the right side for a short distance, keep eye on children. At a large multi-trunk ash tree the twin blazes marking a turn the trail goes down a bank and appears to disappear. We pushed through some armpit high brush to along river bank until we saw another yellow blaze. From there trail was swell. Looks like people don't use the second half of this trail much foot bed was not worn as well as the first half. Pleasant walk.
