Parking/Access Road Notes: parked at end of carter notch rd. near gated FR233. room for 5-6 cars and they were there on return.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Significant

Water Crossing Notes: many crossings with low water so they were fairly easy. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: a few blowdowns on rainbow and a little mud on wildcat, but bog brook has a lot of muddy areas and many bog bridges that are rotted and unsafe.

Dog-Related Notes: saw 5 and about 3 dozen hikers.

Comments: I thoroughly enjoyed this loop. great weather and scenic trails except for the above mentioned mud. the open south knob of carter dome is fabulous! I had never done the dome this way and now I am glad I did.
