Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Those that weren't bridged, were easy hops on sometimes wet rocks.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The lower section of Kineo Trail (not on the snowmobile trail) was in good shape, though blazing is infrequent, and the trail doesn't always appear obvious. A few stepovers on Donkey Hill, and some slickery bog bridging, with some mud thrown in. Three Ponds in good shape from the junction, though it was pretty indistinct heading north through grasses across the beaver swamp, as is its wont.

Comments
Comments: A nice little late afternoon cleanup loop at the south end of the Three Ponds area, seeing only one person on our 5 mile jaunt. Probably the only thing preventing this area from becoming wilderness, is the snowmobile trails criss-crossing the area, but even then, there's a sense that animals are far more frequent visitors than their human counterparts.
