We came up from the south, parking on the shoulder of Upper Valley Road off of Wallace Hill Road |

We scouted out the approach from Whitcomb Hill Road, but the "extension" was clearly marked private / no trespassing... so we left it and went south. Upper Valley Road is being developed. Several lots were posted, but some were not. We parked not quite near the top along the shoulder, and went into the woods where there was no postings. Woods were scrappy down low as bulldozers have pushed material off to the sides for the housing development. Woods got better as we climbed. At the summit there was a jar (dry) and a faded sign board on a tree.
3 for 3 today with JEM3. Good company... nice day. |
