Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All fairly easily rock hopped.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: What seems to be the norm on heavily used trails. Nice to see attempts at reclaiming plant life at top of Falling Waters and other spots with string, signs, walls etc..
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Many out today; been a while since I've seen this many dogs on a hike. Other than near Greenleaf Hut and brooks down low water was scarce.
Bugs
Bugs: Many down low on Falling Waters but no bites.

Comments
Comments: Perfect weather for this hike; mid 50's, mild wind, sunny and clear, long distance views. I prefer loop hikes; but in hindsight I wish I had out and backed to Lincoln or Little Haystack to double my time on the ridge and take preferable Old Bridle route down as well. All trails very dry except for Falling Waters when near the brook crossings. Several happy hikers out today.
