Comments
Comments: Snowshoed roundtrip, but lower elevations are melting out. Could have done this loop with Microspikes or Stablicers. A foot or more of snowpack starting partway up. Snowshoes likely a good idea for lesser used trails or going beyond Mt. Major to Straightback. Some blue ice on the steeps, but nothing light traction can't handle at the moment.
