Parking/Access Road Notes: The very small parking area is plowed, but extended parking at roadside is difficult due to residual snow.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow - Wet/Sticky, Snow/Ice - Small Patches, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Slush, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Snow/Ice - Postholes, Snow - Spring Snow

Water Crossing Notes: All water crossings have bridges, but some of the slush-covered wood was slippery.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in good shape.

Dog-Related Notes: We had three dogs with us and with the exception of one steep section had fun the whole way.

Comments: Typical Spring trail conditions, varying from 2-ft snow to bare dirt, with all kinds of interesting in-between stuff to negotiate. Some of our hikers wore snowshoes, some Microspikes, some bare boots.
