Comments: Awesome day for the presies!!! Went up Valley Way - used snowshoes and/or bareboots below treeline (trails were pretty solid in the am and pm); crampons above treeline - still had decent solid snowfields for easy travel, especially near Thunderstorm Jct. Light winds, excellent views with blue skies. Lots of sunblock used. Got a little hazy later. For the descent, had EXCELLENT butt-sliding for maybe a mile. Tried head-first but was not as successful ;) ;) Only saw maybe a dozen folks out there. Noticed interesting ski tracks down into King's Ravine....wow! Thanks ED for joining on this one!!!
