| Comments: |
"New" section of trail is generally dry with good footing
At about 2 miles after the steep section there is some icy areas. There is ice/slush on the first ledge area. Thereafter the snow/ice/slush because increasingly prevalent. However the snow depth never exceeds two or three inches. Snowshoes are useless. Traction may be helpful but not required if care is taken. The most snow was in the sag between South Moat and Middle Moat. Did not venture north of Middle Moat due to the time of day. |
