| Comments: |
Trail was snow free until near the spring, where occasional ice monorail started, including an extended stretch just prior to the Starr King summit. Ice monorail resumes just off Starr King to Waumbek. Little to no snow in the woods. Microspikes were just right.
Rain held off, and even had views of the Northern Presis from Waumbek. Starr King Trail in the hardwoods featured a bunch of wildflowers - very colorful on an otherwise cloudy day. |
