Comments
Comments: This was the first time I've ever hiked this trail from the trailhead on Cherry Mountain Road. All my previous hikes to Mt. Martha were from the trailhead on Route 115.

The trail was overall in good condition. There were a few minor blowdowns which were all easily removed by simply dragging or tossing them off the treadway. There were some wet and muddy spots, but they all could be easily traversed in one way or another. At the higher elevations, the trail still had a few lingering patches of snow and ice, but this presented no issue other than having to slightly break stride.

Some photos taken during my hike are contained at my BLOG (see link below).
