| Comments: |
The recent rain has made parts of the trails a sopping mess. Combined with the piles of wet leaves, parts of the trails are pretty slippery, in particular on some of the ledges.
OF PARTICULAR NOTE: someone has, in the past month, completely re-blazed the Elwell Trail from Newfound Lake to Bear Mountain (possibly past that, but we didn't go further than Bear Mountain). The re-blazing is well-done and helps considerably -- thank you very much, whoever did that! |
