Comments: This trek was done in conjunction with my trail-adopter duties for the Mt. Tremont Trail. I was grateful to have my friend Marty accompany me and assist with brushing and blowdown removal.

Hopefully, hikers will find this trail to be overall in pretty good shape. There are still a few downed trees that remain in the trail corridor, but they are easy to duck under with only a slight bend of the knee. The trunks of these trees are quite large and require either a chainsaw for complete removal, or certainly a lot more time than we had available to hack away at them with an ax!

There were no issues with water crossings, and the bugs were only a minor annoyance.
