| Comments: |
his is a very mossy and wet trail. There are two very steep rock pitches that require scrambling. Unfortunately, it was so wet that we opted to take the side paths on both (which are to the right of both ledges). In drier conditions the rock scrambles would have been fun but we opted to take the safe route around. We thought about going down via Black Mountain Pond Trail to the Guinea Pond Trail but decided not to after meeting two guys who had just come up that way. They said the Beebe River was very high water (thigh deep)and the steep section of the Black Mountain Trail was very wet. |
