This would be a good hike for dogs - with lots of water available. We saw none today. |

Beautiful day out! Views all along the way to the summit of Sandwich Dome were spectacular. Heading down Smarts Brook Trail, it seems that this trail sees less use, but it shouldn't be underestimated. there were many nice waterfalls/cascades along the way and some giant glacial erratics which are really neat to see. |
