Comments
Comments: Snow above 2700', recommend light traction as many of the rocks had ice and packed snow. It was a beautiful day to be in the woods. Great views of the Franconia Ridge although you had to look through trees to see it. Above snowline the trail was a mix of packed snow, icecy footing and frozen mud which was in various stages of melting. We used the micro-spikes from the jct of Lonesome Lake Tr and Dodge Cut-off to the top of the Cannon Balls and back.
