|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
All waterbars had been cleaned of debris and leaves. No blowdowns or brush issues. Nice job TM. Some soft spots in trail in usual places. Some packed snow in places up high which was no problem today but when frozen it could be slippery, so one might bring the microspikes. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Great trail for dogs and today great dogs for the trail. Pepper had fun hiking down with two of the prettiest and nicest dogs on the trails, Tara and Pemi. |

Pepper had been bitten twice Friday night, perhaps by a coyote, but thanks to his vets he was patched up and cleared for everything but swimming. So after a test hike up Hale where he happily ran down the trail ahead of me, we did Waumbek and had the best of luck when we ran into Tim, Sabrina, Michael, Tara and Pemi at the Waumbek view and were able to hike down with them. What a nice group. Pepper gave me his special chin on the shoulder thanks when we got in the car. |
