Comments
Comments: With a foot of fresh snow on the trail snowshoes worked well on this hike. One group was bare-booting and post-holing ahead of us which made the going a little more difficult but it is all packed out now. We took the Middle Sister cutoff after the switchbacks which was unbroken and sweet. Great VFTT today, quite clear with little wind at the summit. We saw several other groups heading up without snowshoes so the trail was starting to get a little chewed up with the rising temps.
