| Comments: |
Frozen mud and leaves down low. Easy to climb, very slippery on the descent. Ice filled in footbed staring at the transition to evergreen. The trail was very icy\hard from there most of the way to Starr King and it was one foot in the trail\one off or just skirting along the edge. At the approach to the Starr King summit, the trail turns to mostly snow and stays that way all the way over to Mt Waumbek |
