Comments
Comments: The trail conditions were good below the cabin. There was snow cover with some ice and even a little mud. We used micro spikes from the trail head. Above the cabin however there is quite a bit more ice and we switched over to full crampons. This was also tricky though since the trail changed from thick ice to bare rock in many spots.

It was very windy and we could only sit or crawl onto the summit. The views were excellent though with a crystal clear sky and snow on the peaks. It was a fantastic day to be on the big pointed rock.
