Water Crossing Notes

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple large blowdowns on nineteen mile Brook. Still ducking under stuff on the ridge given the snow pack.

Comments
Comments: Went up the ski slope before that opened this morning. Opted for my snowshoes for the televators, but someone ahead of me went without and did fine. The ridge was shockingly solid and given the choppiness from yesterday's conditions I opted for spikes. Wore those all the way to the car. The sunny spots coming down A were sweat-inducing, but I think would've been worse in snowshoes. From Carter Notch to the junction of the Carter Dome trail was holding up well. After that it's equal parts rock and dirt and slushy snow. Definitely glad I got an early start!
