Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All water crossings were safely crossed with care. After an unexpected and frigid dip by my hiking buddy who was barebooting at the time, I put on my spikes in order to cross safely on the ice coated rocks. Later on our descent of North Twin Trail, we both crossed Little River about 50' down river from the trail where the water was fairly shallow without incident. One of us rock hopped and the other wore trash bags and waded.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Picked up or flicked many small branches off the trails today. Climbed under and/or over or walked around the few large blowdowns without a problem.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Enjoyed meeting Bo, an extremely well behaved German Shepherd.

Comments
Comments: Trail was firm all day whether with or without snowpack. Nice cool temps with little wind and lots of sun made for a spectacular day to be out and about!! Barebooted for about 4 miles in the beginning and about 2 at the end and wore spikes in between. Had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with 3 fun ladies.
