 | Comments: |
Gorgeous and fast conditions. Glencliff is (after a sometimes snowless start) well packed and perfect for light traction. Carraige road was nicely packed as well with about an inch or two of fresh snow on top, as well as an occasional deep drift.
South peak spur has not been much travelled, and is a nice sloppy mix of powder, postholes and pack-snatching pines.
I wore microspikes car to car and didn't regret leaving the snowshoes behind. |
