Took advantage of the great trail conditions! Micro-spikes from start to finish. Carried snowshoes because I didn't know where the Brutus bushwack started from and figured if I missed it........anyway, didn't need the snowshoes (stashed them in the woods at the base of the whack) Great day, nice meeting Jeff on the trail. Saw 3 others out enjoying the day. A few different black pond bushwacks, they all get you there, the left branch has lots of ups and downs (but hard packed), the right branch not as consolidated with a couple splits here and there. Couple wet areas on Lincoln brook, crazy for Feb! |
