Packed trail all the way around-virtually no ice. Used microspikes all the way. There was drifting on the ridge as usual but no problem as not very deep (4-5"). Some may want to snow shoe the ridge. Some may want to use crampons on the steeps but I had no problem with ice or slippage on the packed out steeps, up or down. Nice quiet day out today. Met Doug and Sue from Mass. enjoying a day out.. |
