All trails were clear of blowdowns. Carriage Road had some brushy sections due to drifting snow and bent trees. |

Marlie did very well. Most dogs would have no problem below treeline. The last 100' of elevation to the summit was very windy (35-40mph)with blowing snow. Poor Marlie's face was painted white. |

Great day out! The trails were well packed and I was glad that I left the snowshoes in the car. There is one HUGE ice bulge halfway up the Glencliff Tr but it is easy to go around. The clouds raised to 5000' just as I hit the Carriage Rd. The trails were very fast and I made it down in an hour as I was trying to catch my friend who had turned back a mile before the summit. Unfortunately I had to skip the South Peak today.:(
