| Comments: |
Minimal snow on first half mile of trail. Snowshoed, but boney. Once off of the old logging roads, base depths increase. Decent length patch of blue ice above the spring - okay to cross with snowshoes or light traction.
Plenty of snow on the ridge - snowshoes a good idea between the peaks. There has been drifting up there and it'll likely resume after the next wind or snow event.
The sunset and near-full moon lit the woods nicely so that we didn't need headlamps for the walk out. |
