Parked at Bickford Road- unplowed lot but 4 wheel drive did fine- lots of room. |

White Trail to Rand from Klem, sketchy blazes for first 1/3. |

Skipper and Reuben had a great day and found open water for an afternoon swim- burrrrr! |

Left Bickford Road and went up Fire Road to height of land before Round Pond and tried the Blue trail over to the road on East side of pond - slim on blazes, lost trail- bushwacked to pond corner and picked up trail again. Ascended Mt Klem with a small bushwack to summit and then on to Rand. The blazes for the first 1/3 were slim but then improved. The steep section on the west side of Rand was icy and bare in some places. from Rand summit bushwacked NW trying to find an abandoned trail with little success but continued through open woods and came out above the horse farm on Grant Road. Followed an ATV trail back to Fire Road and car- all in all a pleasant day, mid 50's temp. |
