There's room for two cars at the southeastern entrance to Sugar Hill State Forest. |

Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

Water crossings were not an issue. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail could use some maintenance -- quite a few blowdowns. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Brooks are pretty dry right now -- no water. Also, ticks are pretty bad. |

| Bugs: |
A few black flies (yes, already) and quite a few ticks. |

| Comments: |
Went up the Sugar Hill Trail to the southern-most high point on Sugar Hill, in the Sugar Hill State Forest. A lightly blazed trail then leads to the middle "peak."
Great views of Newfound Lake and Mt. Cardigan from ledges on the the middle peak. |
