| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Small parking area at the end of Belknap road. I doubt there are ever very many cars there. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
One tiny stream at beginning of hike. Everything else is dry. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trails are in great condition. Not even a stepover on the entire hike. A special commendation to the person caring for the Orange trail off Piper. It is in very, very good condition and particularly well marked with both paint and cairns. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
WATER, WATER, WATER. The trails are bone dry. Lauky drank all the water I had carried for him. |
| Bugs: |
A few at the car when I returned, otherwise none at all; not even any ticks. |
| Lost and Found: |
| Comments: |
Found the geocaches on both Whiteface and at the plane wreck on Belknap. I could not find the cache on Piper. I seriously suspect that it is gone.
The trails are bone dry. There is no snow, ice or mud on the trails right now. |
