Comments: Great day! Headed up to Lafayette first. Monorail started at about 4000' up to treeline. At treeline, found spots of 6+" snow between the rocks. VERY pretty and tremendous visibility mid-day. On the descent, I bushwhacked to Big Bickford (a 3K) - fairly dry open woods (compass fun!!!) but with changing pressure (altimeter changed) could not slab at planned elevation and overshot the summit bump, came back and hit it. LOTS of moose activity, especially in the birch glades. A virtual barnyard of moose excrement ;). Didn't see a soul all day.... rain as I drove away!!! :)
