Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Lots of parking at both lots. If you did the logging rd for Mt. Potash there is room for 3-4 cars and not block the gate.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Standing/Running Water on Trail

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossing Oliverian Brook and tributaries were relatively easy hops. Expect to get water on shoes though. Downes Brook on the Mt. Potash Tr. was much trickier. Ok if you have long legs or jumping ability. My wife didn't and ended up wading. Logging road would eliminate this issue.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: In the wilderness there were lots of blowdowns and duck unders but none that required bypasses.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Plenty of water for dogs.
Bugs
Bugs: None yet!

Comments
Comments: Or 52 WAV twofer was great. Oliverian Brook and much of Passaconway Cutoff are flat and fast. Slower on the ascent of Square Ledge. Mt. Potash Tr. has been well maintained. Only issue is the above mentioned Downes Brook crossing. About .6 mi west of Mt Potash parking is the logging rd.

There is parking and this avoids the crossing. We came out this way and walked up Kanc to car. Great views from both.
