Comments
Comments: A cold day (wind) and raw but a great day out anyway. Some water on trail but easily avoided. Rock faces were slick and this trail has quite a few. We took the logging road up from Long Pond Road to the last logging yard. At the far end on the left is the trail. You can hook up with the trail down a bit lower if you want. Met one hiker doing an out and back thru hike of the Blueberry Mountain Trail.
Had a nice chat both ways. He saw a bear sow and two cubs. That beats the grouse and turkey we saw.
Not much viewing today.
