Only need for snowshoes today was the upper tenth of a mile. Snowshoed up and microspiked down. Some postholes up high in drifted areas but majority of the trail was hard packed on minimal snow depth(2-12 inches). Surprised by how much rock was exposed, but then again its a south facing trail which hasn't seen much snow lately. A few paths leading off main trail (not too confusing). Beautiful blue sky day and great to be back in NH. again. |
