Starr King Trail summer lot closed and blocked at the top driveway by a big snowbank. Large parking area available on the other side of US 2, labelled trail parking. A little bit slippery trying to drive out of it though. |

Starr King Trail was really nicely packed by snowshoe traffic. While there were some leaners and a few blowdowns frozen into the snowpack, there was nothing impeding travel. Doesn't get much better than this (and won't, courtesy this imcoming weather). |
