black flies were annoying but not terrible. Summits has enough of a breeze to keep them at bay. |

This is a terrific trifecta hike with great views all around. Took us exactly 8 hours total with stops on each peak for snacks and lunch. Crawford in itself is a nice hike but add Stairs to the hike and you have a full day. Resolution has terrific views back to Stairs with Washington off in the distance looming like a distant volcano. |
