Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All trails transited are in good shape. They're a couple of blowdowns on the upper part of the Champney Falls which have been trimmed and easily crossed. The blazes at the summit proper could be better but that's a minor quibble at best.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw several dogs on the hike. It was pretty warm at the summit but the combination of a breeze and plentiful water on the trails made for a good dog day.
Bugs
Bugs: Some but not a big problem.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: A tan t-shirt was hanging from a branch on the trail.

Comments
Comments: What a great hike! Footbed was good to very good for the entire trip. There is running water in parts of the trail (not sure if it's the normal state of affairs) but even the wet, muddy areas were easily traversed. The summit was busy but well behaved. It was warm enough so that the Falls Loop was a welcome diversion on both the ascent and coming back down. Some of the more intrepid (crazy) members of our group went for a dip in the pools. They got refreshed in a hurry!
