Brook crossings were all rock-hoppable... sort of... water a bit up... some folks got a tiny wet |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Lots of blowdowns... some brushing needed... coming down Red Ridge, blazes are faded, with hikers straying off the path as a result (trails need some volunteer love) |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
left Skipper with friends. Good call. Very warm and hot... lots of water down low, but he would have been unhappy today |

skeeters and black flies. not too bad, but they're out. |

Nice clear day. Rhodora out in bloom! As were painted trilliums, red chokeberry, and a few others. Bring your copy of Scudders to the summit :-) |
