Water Crossing Notes: Brook crossings were all rock-hoppable... sort of... water a bit up... some folks got a tiny wet 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of blowdowns... some brushing needed... coming down Red Ridge, blazes are faded, with hikers straying off the path as a result (trails need some volunteer love) 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: left Skipper with friends. Good call. Very warm and hot... lots of water down low, but he would have been unhappy today

Bugs: skeeters and black flies. not too bad, but they're out.

Comments: Nice clear day. Rhodora out in bloom! As were painted trilliums, red chokeberry, and a few others. Bring your copy of Scudders to the summit :-)
