Comments
Comments: Four of us hiked up Crawford. We used micospkikes and one wore full crampons.Women wore the spikes and the lone man wore the crampons. He felt he needed to wear them to protect us.Lots of frozen post holes but you walk around them.We made out fine up to Crawford. We attempted to go further over to stairs and kept sinking in snow so we turned around. The trail over to Stairs is not used that much and the trail that is there isn't very wide so I think snowshoes would be useless at this time.We need more snow.
