| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Despite the cairns, the right turn down onto the ledges when hiking south still appears confusing with much traffic heading left along the ridge top. The white AT blazes are somewhat faded and chipped along the proper route, leading to a further sense of potential confusion. Note that this is only an issues going South bound. Other than thats lots of evidence of recent blowdown removal work. |

We encountered many folks who were complaining about them, but they werent a major annoyance unless stopped and out of the breeze (I didnt put on DEET) |

| Comments: |
Nice day for the hike, sunny and clear with just enough breeze to keep it comfortable. The trail work required to overcome the various slides is impressive. |
