Comments
Comments: Trail is solidly packed almost the entire way. Surface is hard packed (and actually quite shallow) all the way to the junction with the Sosman trail (From the junction I took the Sosman trail to the summit - everyone seems to have gone this way - the Tecumseh trail for the last .2 mile to the summit looks like it hadn't been used in a while) From the Tecumseh/Sosman trail junction to the summit there is some drifting powder on the trail in spots but no more than a few inches deep with the solid base underneath. The trail is bare-bootable the all the way to the summit though I used microspikes for a bit of extra traction since trail was so hard packed. Saw six people on the trail today half with snow shoes and half with microspikes.
