Comments
Comments: Blueberry Ledge Trail in great shape all the way to the summit of Mt. Whiteface. Snow is mostly hard packed with barely any swish on top. The ledges were not too icy, I did not use an ice axe or crampons, microspikes the whole way. As previous reports have mentioned, there is one semi-tricky ledge about 4ft high that has some frozen ice on it. Rollins trail between the peaks had some 2' drifts which aren't very consolidated, although it is only a minor slowdown. Dicey's Mill Trail junction to summit of Passaconaway and back to Ferncroft in great shape and easily done in microspikes, upper section a little steep, but not nearly as bad as Whiteface, nor as icy.
