On the Express Trail about 150 yards past the junction with Cross Link Trail watch out for a nest of ground hornets living under a rock in the middle of the trail. A young man just ahead of us was stung several times, ending his groups ascent. |

Red hat found on Major/Brook trail; returned it to the sign post in the parking lot. |

A nice mid-morning trip. Slight haze, but views North to the Sandwich range and East to the hill of Maine. |
