| Comments: |
This was Segment 2 of an intended 6-part traverse of the entire N-S Trail, from the north, covering the 15 miles from Geo. Washington State Forest to Shady Acres Diner on Rte 6 in Foster - a neat place with great ice cream. We hit the high spot of the whole Trail, on "Old Snake Hill Road" in Glocester - just over 800 feet. But is it the Hill, the Road or maybe the Snake that is "Old"? One stretch took us into Conn. for a couple of miles. |
