Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All significant crossings bridged.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One confusing junction in the vast corn and turf fields just north of MEadow Brook Pond in the south part of Richmond, which is not very clearly described in the NST Guide. We guessed wrong, but reconnected with the Trail in fairly short order.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Didn't encounter many dogs or people, except on the road-walk of several miles in the middle, between Arcadia and Carolina MWAs.
Bugs
Bugs: Some, but not too bad.

Comments
Comments: This 14.5 mile segment was the fifth for Cumulus and me in our north-south traverse of the North-South Trail. (We are less than 12 miles from our goal - East Beach in Charletown.) Some very attractive and peaceful trails through both WMAs, and nobody else seemed to be using them. Busier in hunting season?
