Comments: Appalachain Trail. Rt. 41 to MA border

Pretty much smooth sailing through this nice section of the AT. Good views from Lion Head's warm and sunny ledge. Continued on to Riga shelter with the old man and his buddies, nice view from there too. They all turned back to Rt. 41, while I continued on from Riga. First started to see snow prior to Bear in low, shady areas. Climb up Bear was nice saw a bunch of people out on the summit, fine views to the North and East. The north side of Bear was tricky descending the short steep section on account of snow and ice. Trace to a couple inches of snow continued down to the MA border and on through Sage's Ravine. Hike continued in MA section....
