Comments
Comments: Another vacation day in Vermont, another giant cloud bank parked on a peak that is known for its views. We went for it anyway, hoping the cloud would either move along, lift up, or burn off, none of which happened. It's always a good day on the Long Trail though. At the summit, the cloud was thick, cold, and windy. We were delighted to find the Sky Haus open with hot coffee for sale in the cafeteria. A few people were riding the gondola, mostly on free passes. We bailed on Big Jay, partly due to the weather and partly because of a minor muscle strain.
